Owned and operated by New York State in Lewiston, New York, Artpark opened in 1974 as an unprecedented experiment in site-specific public art. Artpark’s visual arts program flourished between 1974 and 1984 with over two hundred artists and collectives participating. The following interviews were conducted by Sandra Q.
