September 2010 - New Oral Histories Available Online

AS-AP makes available online several oral history interviews with the founders, current and former directors, and curators of significant alternative art spaces in the United States. Funding for the project was provided by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA).

Transcripts for each of the interviews are available on the AS-AP website.  Some of the interviews include:  Martha Wilson, the Founding Director of Franklin Furnace; Mark Tribe, founder of Rhizome Amy Sadao, Executive Director, Visual AIDS, and many others.
